廣東省激光行業(yè)協(xié)會成立于2013年，是中國南方地區(qū)最具代表性的激光產(chǎn)業(yè)專業(yè)組織。目前協(xié)會擁有超過250家會員，大部分會員分布在廣東省，也有其他會員在武漢、上海、湖南、江蘇等省市，包括大族、通快、IPG等知名外國企業(yè)也是協(xié)會一份子。
多年來，廣東省激光行業(yè)協(xié)會為推動中國激光技術(shù)發(fā)展、中國與海外國家技術(shù)交流與商業(yè)合作做出了重要貢獻。協(xié)會每年參與主辦“中國(深圳)激光與光電博覽會”、“世界激光制造大會”、“亞洲激光論壇”，“亞洲增材制造應(yīng)用技術(shù)論壇”，累計邀請來自中國與世界各地的專業(yè)人士2000多人參加。很好地推動了研究與企業(yè)的技術(shù)合作。
協(xié)會多次組織會員企業(yè)前往德國、美國、日本、英國、立陶宛、新加坡等國考察交流，尋找合作。并舉辦激光企業(yè)家高爾夫球賽，增加激光企業(yè)CEO的友誼與合作。
協(xié)會舉辦“激光應(yīng)用沙龍活動”，帶領(lǐng)會員開發(fā)激光新應(yīng)用；舉辦“紅光獎”行業(yè)評選活動，并為企業(yè)提供管理培訓(xùn)、人才培訓(xùn)等服務(wù)。目前協(xié)會成為中國具有影響力、行業(yè)號召力的激光專業(yè)社團組織。
協(xié)會代表性工作：
1. 主辦世界激光制造大會
2019年-2023年，激光協(xié)會連續(xù)兩年發(fā)起舉辦了世界激光制造大會，邀請了來自美國、中國、立陶宛、德國、俄羅斯、瑞士、日本、新加坡等多個國家的激光知名專家參會并作報告，介紹了主要國家激光產(chǎn)業(yè)市場發(fā)展與最前沿的激光技術(shù)研究專題。另外，世界激光制造大會聯(lián)合組織相關(guān)單位一致同意把大會秘書處設(shè)立在深圳。
2. 打造深圳激光谷產(chǎn)業(yè)園
2019年，激光協(xié)會與深圳寶安區(qū)政府聯(lián)合在新橋街道打造深圳激光谷產(chǎn)業(yè)園。計劃用3-5年的時間，通過整治提升34萬平方米產(chǎn)業(yè)載體及土地整備225畝產(chǎn)業(yè)用地，建成100億元以上產(chǎn)值規(guī)模，助推深圳成為中國規(guī)模最大的激光產(chǎn)業(yè)集聚地。
3. 建立深圳市智造激光技術(shù)研究院
依托激光協(xié)會與深圳市、寶安區(qū)的支持，建立了深圳市智造激光技術(shù)研究院。研究院立足與深圳，致力于孵化更多高精尖的激光企業(yè)，同時為深圳各級政府發(fā)展激光提供建設(shè)性意見。

Guangdong Laser Industry Association (GDLIA) was founded in 2013, and is the organization representing laser industry in South China. GDLIA has more than 250 members, most of them are laser companies in Guangdong province, and a small part from Wuhan, Shanghai, Hunan, Jiangsu etc., including Hanslaser, TRUMPF, IPG Photonics are members of GDLIA.
In the past years, GDLIA made great contribution to the laser technology development in China, and the exchanges, business cooperation between China and other countries. Every year, GDLIA host “LASERFAIR China(Shenzhen) Laser and Photonics Fair”, “World Laser Manufacturing Conference”, “Asia Laser Forum”, “Asia Additive Manufacturing Application Forum”, all the events invited more than 2000 professionals to do speech, which created very good place for researchers and companies.
GDLIA organized members to Germany, United States, Japan, United Kingdoms, Lithuania and Singapore, to visit local companies and laser institute, look for cooperation partners. GDLIA organized the laser CEO to play golf, which let them be good friend.
GDLIA organized “Laser Application Saloon”, bringing members to develop new application; and also the “China Laser Innovation Awards”. The association offers management training, engineer training for members. It becomes a professional, influential entity in laser industry.
GDLIA major achievements:
1. World Laser Manufacturing Conference
From 2019-2023, GDLIA organized World Laser Manufacturing Conference, inviting famous professionals from United States, China, Germany, Russia, Japan, Lithuania, Switzerland etc. They made presentations about the countries’ laser industry, market and eco-system, also latest researches. The conference co-organizers agreed set up a secretariat in Shenzhen.
2. Shenzhen Laser Valley Industry Park
From 2019, GDLIA and the government of Shenzhen Bao’an established the Laser valley industry. It plans 3-5 years, to make a high tech laser park with 10 billion RMB revenues, which helps Shenzhen to be largest laser industry city.
3. Shenzhen Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing Laser Technology
With the support and help from GDLIA, Shenzhen Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing Laser Technology was founded in the Shenzhen laser valley, and will try to incubate more high end laser companies.
